Colorado North Front Range Region
Drive south between the mountains and plains where the antelope play. Monumental mountains signal the easternmost outpost of the fabled Rocky Mountains. Longs Peak (14,255) marks the Rocky Mountain National Park region in the north; Mount Evans (14,264) stands just west of Denver; and Pike’s Peak looms over the environs of Colorado Springs and Pueblo.
The Front Range North Region is where vast farmland embraces exquisite towns dedicated to the arts, education and the sciences. Boulder is the home of the University of Colorado, as well as a wide diversity of shops, restaurants, art galleries, and outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking and rock climbing. Denver is a vibrant city full of museums, theaters, amazing architecture, antique shops, pedestrian malls and more.
